MONDAY- Paper Making- use raw materials to create our own paper and then we will make a book to take home. With the inspiration of Thoreau we can inscribe our own inspirational sayings or poems into our book with a feather pen.  We will have a blast and will get messy doing it, so come dressed to mess.

TUESDAY- Terrific Toulousse- we will have a paint factory and make our own textured paints including oils, sand, sugar, flour, water, and egg wash.  We will then create our own painted masterpieces inspired by the masters. We will have a super blast on this day and get even messier so please dress accordingly. We do provide a smock t-shirt.

WEDNESAY- A Great Day For Clay- we will roll our sleeves up and mold and shape our own clay forms.  We will learn how to use sculpting tools to create some very unique patterns in clay.  The creations will be fired for a later pick-up.  Remember, Michaelangelo’s David wasn’t created in a day, some clay work may take more than one day. 

THURSDAY- Bead- a- Bead anyone?- we will spend part of this day finishing our clay projects and the rest making sculpey clay beads for necklaces and bracelets. If beads aren’t your forte, how about crazy heads for your pencils?  Animal or sports sculptures?  We want to see your creative spirit and let yourself enjoy the process.  We hope to set the sky as the limit on your ability to create and give you the tools and the place to do it.  Go for it!

FRIDAY- GALLERY HOP- We will spend the day finalizing the weeks projects, we will learn how to frame and wire a painting for hanging. We will set up for our Art Show and show off our artwork to the public.  Invite your Friends and Family to see your Show from 4 to 5!

Your child can opt to take both sessions and stay for lunch during the break.  They will need to bring a sack lunch and there is a small fee of 20.00 for the entire week.
